The dandelion

The dandelion was already considered one of the most powerful medicinal plants in popular culture and is now celebrated as a true all-rounder in naturopathy.
In fact, the healing powers of its leaves and roots have been the subject of scientific research for some time now. In cancer research in particular, it is hoped that dandelions, which grow everywhere and are extremely easy to find, can support the success of conventional medical treatment.
The Canadian Windsor University in particular has been researching dandelions in detail for years and has now discovered that the dandelion extract obtained from the root can kill cancer cells without damaging healthy cells.
Research is still far from complete and clinical studies on a larger scale are still lacking, but it is hoped that this plant, commonly known as the dandelion, will also be used in cancer therapy.
However, it is already known from folk medicine that dandelion is a multi-talent: If you want to take dandelion, you should first check whether you are allergic to composite plants.
Allergies of this kind could prevent the use of dandelion products.
You should also avoid them if you have kidney disease.
Caution is also advised when taking antibiotics at the same time, as their effect can be influenced by dandelion.
