Read BE, especially the conventional medicine part before your first doctor’s appointment.

This will give you a quick overview and valuable information. With this knowledge, you will be able to communicate with your doctor at eye level from the beginning and ask questions that you would not have considered otherwise. Good preparation is the cornerstone of team building between you and your practitioner.

Write down all the questions that run through your mind, sort them out and take your personal list of questions with you. Formulate your questions as concretely as possible.

Take all your documents and findings with you.

Pack a pen and notepad. Take notes during the interview.

Ask questions if you do not understand something.

Find out about the exact procedures of the treatments and when you have to take which medication before or after the therapy.

Get medical terms translated if necessary.
